Our manufacturing client in Bloomsburg, PA is seeking a Health and Safety Specialist to join their team. This position is part of a larger nationwide recruitment effort, with over 50 current EHS positions available.

Role Overview
Reporting directly to the EHS Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the management and overall direction of Health and Safety programs and activities at the facility.
Major Responsibilities
- Support the EHS Manager and partner with plant operations leadership regarding the interpretation of federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
- Align corporate and local EHS goals and strategies.
- Participate in and/or lead employee training programs focused on EHS behaviors and compliance.
- Participate in and/or lead EHS audits and inspections, developing remediation plans as needed.
- Participate in and/or lead multi-media environmental compliance, including but not limited to:
- Water: SPCC, storm
- Waste: Hazardous and non-hazardous
- Air: Internal respiratory and external emissions
- Participate in and/or lead Continuous Improvement initiatives regarding EHS policies and programs.
- Assist in maintaining and ensuring full compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations alongside company EHS standards.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Unrestricted authorization to work for any employer in the United States.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- One (1) or more years of EHS experience (including internships), preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Additional Preferred (Not Required) Competencies:
- Professional Certification from a nationally recognized organization (e.g., BCSP, NASP, IHMM, COSS, NREP, etc.)

Salary range: $65,000 to $75,000
