Safety Manager Role Summary
The Safety Manager is a critical, high-impact leadership role responsible for establishing and driving an enterprise-wide safety strategy in a construction environment. This leader is tasked with building a proactive culture of risk management, ensuring CAL/OSHA and other regulatory compliance, and achieving "best-in-class" safety performance.
Minimum Requirements
• Experience: Seven (7) or more years of Safety experience in a construction environment.
• Knowledge: Demonstrated experience with major construction risks (e.g., crane rigging, fall from heights, trenching/excavation, confined space).
• Technical: Demonstrated knowledge in developing Job Hazard/Safety Analyses (JHA/JSA).
• Education: Bachelor's degree.
• Language: Bilingual English / Spanish.
• Skills: Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Competencies
• Certifications: Professional Certification (e.g., ASP, GSP, CSP, CHST).
• Training: OSHA 10, 30, or 500 Construction certificate(s).
