Are you seeking an opportunity to advance your EHS career and be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a facility?

We are recruiting for a full-time position as an employee of our manufacturing client in Cambridge, OH. The position requires being on-site in Cambridge, OH. Relocation assistance within the US is available. This is one of over 50 current EHS positions being recruited for nationwide. 


What you will be doing:
Reporting to the EHS Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the management and overall direction of EHS programs and activities at the facility

You will guide, coach, mentor and support all site employees on how to protect themselves, each other and company assets in the most productive and efficient manner.

Partial List of Minimum Requirements:Unrestricted authorization to work for any employer in the United States.

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Five (5) or more years of EHS experience, preferably in manufacturing
  • Demonstrated knowledge of multi-media environmental programs
  •  
    Major Responsibilities:    Support the EHS Manager and partner with plant operations leadership and serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding interpretation of federal, state and local EHS regulations
  • Participate and/or lead employee training programs regarding EHS behaviors and compliance
  • Participate and/or lead EHS audits and inspections developing remediation plans as needed
  • Participate and/or lead multi-media environmental compliance including, but not limited to: Water (SPCC, storm); Waste (hazardous and non-hazardous); Air (internal respiratory and external emissions)
  • Participate and/or lead Continuous Improvement initiatives regarding EHS policies and programs
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state and local EHS regulations
